A fruity, spicy wine, delivering milk chocolate and berries. Full and silky, with a fruity, tangy finish. Needs a few years to come togheter. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Not imported into the U.S. Best after 2012. 1,000 cases made. – J.S.

This displays smoke, berry and cherry aromas and flavors, with loads of new oak in the afterstate, but the charred barrel and light oak really complements the Sangiovese. A single-vineyard wine from Gagliole. Not imported into the U.S. Best after 2011. 95 cases made —J.S.

A very rich red, offering currant and berry notes, with hints of black pepper. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and fruity finish. Best after 2011. 1,535 cases made —J.S
